Welcome to Rogue Direct Hire (“Rogue Direct Hire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rogue Direct Hire website, platform, subscriptions, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Platform Overview
Rogue Direct Hire operates a two-sided marketplace that:
Connects consumers with local service-based businesses
Connects businesses with jobseekers for direct-hire employment
Provides listings, profiles, messaging, job postings, and visibility tools
Rogue Direct Hire is not:
An employer
A temporary employment service
A contractor, subcontractor, or labor broker
We facilitate introductions only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform and legally able to enter binding agreements.
3. Account Registration
You agree to:
Provide accurate and current information
Maintain the security of your login credentials
Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.
4. User Roles & Responsibilities
a. Consumers
Consumers may browse businesses, request quotes, and communicate with businesses. Rogue Direct Hire does not guarantee pricing, availability, or service outcomes.
b. Businesses
Businesses are solely responsible for:
Compliance with licensing, insurance, and employment laws
Accuracy of listings, job postings, and representations
All hiring decisions, employment terms, wages, benefits, and termination
c. Jobseekers
Jobseekers may browse and apply for jobs. Rogue Direct Hire does not guarantee employment, job offers, or placement.
5.Candidate Resumes & Jobseeker Information
Rogue Direct Hire may allow jobseekers to upload resumes, profiles, and other employment-related information (“Candidate Materials”) through its platform.
By submitting Candidate Materials, jobseekers acknowledge and agree that:

Rogue Direct Hire does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any Candidate Materials.

Candidate Materials may be viewed by businesses registered on the platform for the purpose of evaluating potential candidates.

Rogue Direct Hire does not participate in hiring decisions, employment negotiations, or employment relationships.

All hiring decisions are made solely by the business and the jobseeker.
Businesses acknowledge and agree that:

Rogue Direct Hire does not guarantee candidate quality, availability, or hiring outcomes.

Businesses are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable employment, labor, wage, licensing, and background check laws.

Rogue Direct Hire is not responsible for any actions, omissions, or representations made by jobseekers or businesses.
Rogue Direct Hire is not an employer, staffing agency, or employment agency and does not assume responsibility for any employment relationship formed through the platform.
Data Privacy & Resume Visibility
Candidate resumes and profiles are only accessible to logged-in business users. Rogue Direct Hire does not sell candidate resumes or personal information.
No Employment Guarantee
Use of the platform does not guarantee interviews, job offers, placements, or employment of any kind.
6. WooCommerce Subscriptions, Payments & Billing
Certain Platform features require paid subscriptions, processed through WooCommerce.
Billing Terms
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly)
You authorize automatic renewal until cancellation
Pricing and features are displayed at checkout
Failed Payments
We may suspend or limit access to paid features if payment fails.
Subscription Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing or features with advance notice. Changes apply at the next billing cycle unless otherwise stated.
7. No Employment, Joint Employer, or Agency Relationship
Rogue Direct Hire does not:
Hire, supervise, or control jobseekers
Determine wages, schedules, or working conditions
Participate in employment decisions
All employment relationships are solely between businesses and jobseekers.
Nothing on the Platform creates:
An employer-employee relationship with Rogue Direct Hire
A joint employer relationship
A staffing or labor leasing relationship
8. State-Specific Employment Disclaimers
Employment laws vary by state.
Businesses are responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including but not limited to wage and hour laws, workers’ compensation, licensing, and tax obligations.
Rogue Direct Hire does not monitor or enforce employer compliance.
Jobseekers acknowledge that employment terms are governed by applicable state law and agreements with the hiring business.
For Oregon users: Rogue Direct Hire does not act as an Oregon employment agency as defined under ORS Chapter 658.
9. User Content & Reviews
Users retain ownership of submitted content. By submitting content, you grant Rogue Direct Hire a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for platform operations and marketing.
Reviews reflect individual opinions and do not represent Rogue Direct Hire’s views.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
Misrepresent identity or qualifications
Circumvent platform fees
Harass, spam, or solicit users outside platform rules
Post unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
11. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with third-party services (including payment processors). Rogue Direct Hire is not responsible for third-party actions, policies, or outages.
12. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees regarding:
Hiring outcomes
Service quality
Business performance
Consumer satisfaction
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rogue Direct Hire is not liable for:
Employment disputes
Service performance issues
Lost profits or business opportunities
Indirect or consequential damages
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rogue Direct Hire from claims arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse of the Platform.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
